Most people are familiar with marketing as a whole, but have unanswered questions about the different areas it encompasses. We’re here to answer them.
Why is having a website so important?
30 years ago, online browsing was a thing of the future but today Google sees around 5.8 billion searches each day. Having a website which showcases your product as a solution to the searcher’s problem will help you capture their attention and convert them into customers. Most businesses have a website, so not having one can damage your credibility and trust.
What types of websites do you design?
Our web designers work with a host of platforms including WordPress, Shopify and Magento, building websites using completely bespoke coded templates. When it comes to what we include on a website, that’s up to you! We build both static and ecommerce websites, landing pages and splash pages – with all the features you and your customers need.
What is SEO, in a nutshell?
SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) means optimising your website so that Google ranks it as a quality site to show its users. There are many aspects that make your website ‘good’ in Google’s eyes, including having quality content, fast page load times, good URL structure and a responsive layout.
Why is SEO important?
It’s simple: the better quality your website is through optimising it with SEO, the higher up it will appear in the search results. Being higher up in the search results means more clicks from potential customers as only 0.78% of Google users click on something from the second page of the results. More clicks can potentially mean more sales.
What’s the point in posting on social media?
Social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram can benefit your business in so many ways. They can be used for increasing brand awareness, replying to customer queries, interacting with your customers on a human level, and even advertising your products and services.
Should I post organically or run ads?
As a social media agency, we say both! While organic (unpaid) posts are great for building up your social media page and keeping that momentum going, ads are fantastic for targeting specific types of people in certain locations and age demographics. Your social media page should be a nice balance between interacting with customers through organic posts and selling through ads.
What does PPC mean?
PPC stands for Pay-Per-Click, a type of online advertising where you pay each time someone clicks on your ad. Google Ads is the most common PPC advertising platform as it allows you to advertise on Google with search ads, display ads (image or GIF ads), video ads and shopping ads.
How do I get the best results from Google Ads?
It’s all about determining your audience and choosing the most relevant search keywords with low competition so you’re not spending too much on ad space. This involves thorough research which is something our PPC specialists take care of for you.
